Introduction to Client Management
Client Management is the central hub in Nizam where you organize and track all your client relationships. Whether you’re working with individual freelancers or large businesses, the Client Management system helps you keep contact information, track progress through your sales pipeline, and access all related work in one place.
What You Can Do with Client Management
1. Store Client Information
Keep all essential details organized—names, email addresses, phone numbers, company information, and billing addresses. Everything you need is at your fingertips.
2. Track Your Pipeline
Move clients through customizable pipeline stages to visualize where each relationship stands, from first contact to active client to completed work.
3. Manage Related Work
Access all projects, proposals, agreements, invoices, and tasks associated with each client from their detail page. No more hunting through different areas of the app.
4. Add Notes and Context
Document conversations, preferences, and important details with color-coded notes that stay with the client record.
5. Analyze Performance
View revenue charts, project status, and invoice summaries to understand your business relationship with each client at a glance.
Getting to Client Management
Access Client Management from the Clients menu in your sidebar. This takes you to your client list where you can view all clients, search and filter, and create new client records.
Client Types
Nizam supports two types of clients:
- Individual: For freelancers, consultants, sole proprietors, or personal contacts
- Business: For companies, corporations, or organizations
The client type determines how names are displayed throughout your workspace and helps you organize your contacts appropriately.
Your Client Workflow
A typical workflow with Client Management looks like this:
1. Create a client record by selecting the type of client and entering with basic contact information
